Cleaning a villa takes a different plan from cleaning a flat. The floor area is spread over several levels, there are usually more bathrooms than bedrooms in daily use, and a large part of the property is outdoors: terraces, a pool surround, outdoor kitchens and furniture that sits in the weather all year.

Marbella villas also tend to have surfaces that punish the wrong approach. Marble and natural stone, large panes of glass, stainless steel, hardwood decking and painted metalwork all need different products, and a routine that works in a rented flat will leave marks on most of them.

Villas are also used in bursts. A property can stand quiet for weeks and then hold twelve people for a fortnight. That is why villa housekeeping is usually a mix: a lighter routine while the house is empty, a full preparation before an arrival, and more frequent visits while it is occupied.

Do you clean terraces and the pool area?
Yes, and on this coast they matter as much as the interior. Terraces, outdoor furniture, the pool surround and glass balustrades can all be part of the scope. Pool water treatment itself is a separate trade.
Can the villa be cleaned while it stands empty?
Yes, and most owners who are away part of the year do exactly that. Access is arranged in whatever way suits you, and the property is kept ready for your return.
Do you handle marble and natural stone?
