Cleaning After Building Work
Building dust is not ordinary dust. It is fine, abrasive, and it travels into every part of a property, long after the work itself has finished.
A renovated property is not finished when the builders leave. Plaster and cement dust settles into every horizontal surface, works its way into cupboard runners and window tracks, and settles again a day later once the air moves. Paint spots, adhesive residue, silicone smears and protective film are all still in place.
That is why after-building cleaning is normally done in more than one pass. The first pass removes the bulk of the debris and dust; the second, once everything has settled again, is what actually makes the property usable. Trying to do it in a single sweep is the most common reason a renovated home still feels dusty a week later.
The work applies to any finished project: a full villa renovation, a reformed apartment, a new kitchen or bathroom, or a commercial space fitted out before opening. It also applies to smaller jobs, where the dust from one knocked-through wall has quietly reached the whole flat.

- Terraces and access routes used during the work
Good to know
It is worth booking this once the trades have genuinely finished. If painters or fitters return afterwards, the dust comes back with them, and the work has to be repeated.
Rubble, packaging and construction waste removal is a separate job and normally belongs to the builder. This service deals with dust, residue and finishing, not with clearing out material.
